Check for 12 volts at your coil connection inside the distributor. You did get a new coil with your distributor I would assume?
i went to take of the coil and turns out the bearing that the rotor spins on was bad. the friction from it caused it to heat up and my rotor completely melted off and plastic went all over the inside of the distributor.
sooo got a new dist, coil, module, rotor, cap.
and it's running now (makes weird noises after 3k rpms but not too worried atm, just happy it runs)
