Most of the US Atoms had the 2.0 supercharged ecotec engines. I haven't heard of any that are using the new turbocharged versions.

But I'd much rather have the K20 than the ecotec.

Yeah, I'm in Idaho. No emissions, and pretty lax rules compared to other states. I know there's atleast one registered for street use in Texas as well.

Each state has different requirements, so you need to check with your local DMV.

Kentucky is pretty lenient. we can legal drive 4 wheelers on the street if they are licensed.
