id like to get what ever people use when making movies. like in some of the GRIP video's how they have outside mounted cameras and the cars are going like 300KMH...some strong stuff!

My mount stayed on the car going 80 down the interstate..... it wasn't coming off at all. lol

This mount holds on like mad!! I hooked it to the back of my car once and we picked it up off the suspension.. I'm sure we could have picked up the car if I was strong enough. lol

i have a vision...

take the headrest off.. get a piece of wood big enough so you can drill two holes that the posts for the headrest can go thru.. make sure theres a little piece sticking out the front and put a screw through the wood, but make sure the screw has the right thread size so it doesnt strips out the threads on your camera.. put the headrest back on w the posts through the holes and screw on your camera....

That has actually been done numerous times, and has already been discussed in this thread ;)

This is going to be my setup very soon.

Those crazy leg looking things wrap around stuff ie. headrest posts, c-pillar bar, harness bar, shit ANYTHING.

would they hold the weight of the camera especially when the car is running and bouncing on the road...

THAT is a good point that my simple minded ass didn't consider. I mean i'm sure it'll keep a hold of the camera, but the problem is it isn't solidly mounted and vibration and bumps would definitely make the pliable legs move around f*cking the camera positioning all up.

I'll go to the store and check one out.
