just wondering what everyones setup is for in car video. im usually the one taking video when i ride along with my brother. but now that im driving my own car to meets and everywhere else, i cant take video.

i just went to best buy and found a "click n stick" camera mount by sunpak...where it mount to the camera is a ball, it allows 360 degree turning...and doesnt lock. so i had to tape it up to keep it from spinning around, and while i was testing out spots in my car to mount it, i had it hanging from the sun roof, after 30 seconds, it fell with only its weight, no camera...so ill be taping it to where ever i mount it!

i mainly bought it for the March 29th OH/KY spring meet, id like to get some good video of all the tegs.

let me know what you think of mounting the camera like this, think this view will be good for video?

waiting for a video to upload, i took a short video of me driving with the camera mounted right by the mirror. but i dont like having it right there in my face.

My friend has one that mounts to the headrest of the passenger seat. The two height adjusters, I will get one when I get a cage.

That's what i was gonna mention, all you need is a piece of wood, a bolt and a nut and bingo you have a mount

I wouldn't trust that mount with a light camera. The ones you want are are aluminum/steel setup that sets right from the headrest. also it's great for shots from the over the right or left shoulder

The headrest mounts suck. Too much vibration.
