paypal may or may not do something about it
Ive used them before, its hit or miss. If he is verified (ie bank account attached) they can pull $ from there if the seller wont respond or attempt to address the issue. I also think there is a insurance deal with paypal now. Not positive on that, but I thought I saw it in one their emails.

it depends on forum deals, paying with a credit card on pay pal is always for sure. Im not too sure on the details of the dealing i read on honda tech but for sure paypal didnt intervine.

^^ that fuucking sucks. just wait on dude to get back. if he's hiding he's a biitch. if hes just worried about What's going to happen and avoiding, he's a weeny. its on him. dont worry. if he wants to be a scanner let him be a scammer for life. I've been scammed, it sucks, but I've learned not to use websites that look shady

You sent it as a gift to avoid the fees, didn't you... If so, you're screwed as far as paypal is concerned...

EDIT: Yes, what they said, lol...

Well, I did have one situation I paid $200 for some parts that never came...I did not yet know the dangers of paying as a gift and that is how I paid. He kept BSing me for about a month, but i had his cell number. Texted him on a daily basis... Guess what? I got me money back!! Good luck...be persistent!

I did the gift thing with $500 and then an additional $150.. Because he didnt want to pay the fucking paypal fees. Luckily I got all my shit

But it pisses me off that people dont want to pay the fee. The fucking fee should always be paid by the seller, never the buyer. The seller wants your money for their parts, so then that fee is paying the peoples wages that work for paypal, thus making paypal the safest way. If you're going to send a cash gift, send a check in the mail with a post card. Shits weak
