Yup ... with stock block.I wouldnt boost a C5 either, the C1 can make 300whp with some head studs.

lolyou can boost either, you can get new pistons and lower the comp in both
the only reason people say its not good to boost a car with high comp is being there is less room for error in tuning the car cause much more can go wrong with a higher comp ratio but talk to your tuner and see what he or she feels comfortable with doing, my friends with a wrx, talked to his tuner and now he is doing a 14.1 comp ratio
