Buying Main and Rod Bearings

ACL is what I looked up prices for. But i'm having my crank turned and I'll have the machine shop order the new bearings.

Thanks though.

I was just about to say if you are having a shop do this you should just have them order them lol. Good call

I wasn't planning to at first, needless to say talking to Mirrorimg for awhile and i've decided to. Better safe than sorry. Paid for the new main and rod bearings, gasket kit and getting crank turned. Thrust washers (maybe) and piston rings and I'll be good to go.

DO NOT TRY TO BE AFFORDABLE WHEN BUYING ENGINE BEARINGS!
THEY ARENT THAT EXPENSIVE IN THE FIRST PLACE FOR A GREAT SET.

Go with acl full race bearings and measure the sizes before and after installing to
verify your oil clearances.

I said affordable, not cheap.
ACL in my opinion is affordable.
I will plastigauge them to make sure the clearances are good.

I should get the stuff this week.
