Brz/fr-s vs. Itr

I'm not sure how someones opinion can be flawed but whatever man. The NSX and Integra are rebadged Hondas, I think that's a little different. Lexus has been making it's own designs from the beginning, not just rebadging Toyotas. Why a $250,000 LFA comes into a discussion about a $25,000 Toyota I can't really understand. I've never doubted Toyotas ability to produce a great car, they competed in Formula 1 until the other year, they've made plenty of great cars in the past, but they should have made their sports car comeback on their own, not teemed up with a their lame ass Scion branch and Subaru.

You like your truck I think they're pointless, and I've driven them, so opinions are like assholes, what's your point? I also think Subaru is lame, I find it amusing that they try and advertise themselves to tree hugging hippies and then compete in rally racing and produce the STI. Mainly though I don't like their designs, as great as they may be for certain applications I would never buy one.

The fact about professional drivers delivering performance feedback on how great the car is I care nothing about. I didn't like the car, I wouldn't consider buying it, therefore I have no need to drive it. I didn't say it drove like crap or anything else. You're really good at taking a single comment and turning it into something completely different.

Why didnt they turbocharge it? Or at least make it an option, subaru makes some beastly flat 4 turbocharged cars :)

It would outsell their WRX and STi Impreza lol. The power it has matches the price point it sells at. If it made more power, then it would obviously have to be more expensive. Car logic.

Toyota Altezza = Lexus IS, Scion FR-S = Toyota GT86... Think of Toyota as the boss as they are, They develop a car and choose which emblem to put on the hood as Honda does the same thing (Accord Euro R = TSX)

As you said "That's the main problem I have with the BRZ, it's kinda soulless, it may be a great car, it may perform exceptionally with a little tuning, but I don't get any great feelings from it, I checked the scion and subaru versions out at the last autoshow we had and just really wasn't impressed"

All while everyone that has driven the car and have impeccable credentials say other wise, And they did just a bit more than "check it out" at a car show. My quote by Chris Harris is about the cars "soul" and I recall Jeremy Clarkson saying something similar.

I took a nice week or so vacation and came back to a bit of reading! What a pleasant surprise! It is a Complete SUBARU chassis design, SUBARU engine, SUBARU interior, SUBARU systems. Toyota developed the d-4 system and designed the body (Subaru is known for chunky, non eye pleasing designs) This co-development is what made this car possible. It isn't a crown jewel, and as I stated, I looked at other cars first! AUSSIE, have you driven one? I have. Hard. It's low torque is hard to grasp at first, but it just threads excitement, and reminds me of my integra in so may ways. not perfect, but gives you a connection you cant pull from. This thread veered so far from a comparison, and turned into an argument. It is a good car, and didn't come with a turbo so as not to compete with the wrx sti platforms. The transmission takes point from the LEXUS LFA! And is a similar platform out of other such RWD cars. The aftermarket support is huge. The ONLY thing I outright hate is the 5x100 Lug pattern. Horrendous.

I don't know what parts you are looking for, but I have never had a problem...
I guess I meant parts that aren't market up ridiculously. For instance type-r floor/trunk mats, OEM kit, BYS bumper to name a few.

Kind of running out of things to buy these days, haha.
