Protip: go to a Honda or Acura OEM parts website. Look up different B series vehicles and cross reference the part number of the breather box. Same part number, same box. Get it?

^piece of advice can be universally applied to many parts in case anyone didnt deduce that from it.

What box? Theres a breather chamber which all motors have that i see or if referring to intake system as 'breather' they share similar 'box' systems, that im aware of.

Ok its what i thought it was. Part numbers for it are listed for every year including non vtec's. Unless it was not used for certain states??

obd1 looks like the LS has it, obd2 it does not because it doesnt need it. My original motor did not have a breather box.

Youre right, its pictures for obd2 but not listed in the parts. Do you know why they deleted it? Simply not needed?

The breather box is on motors both non-vtec and vtec. It is the same throughout the years. OBD2 does not have one at all.

On most of our cars the PCV valve sits in the breather box. On Obd2 cars it is in the valve cover. I'm not sure if that's why they deleted it, but I see no reason to have the box with the PCV valve relocated.

You bypassed what dylan said about vtec motors having. Obd2 vtec does use it. Curious why the left it alone for vtec models and not for non vtec. Maybe since the non vtec's didnt need it, it would save tons of money.

I was simply reiterating as he originally was not clear on the point.

They simply improved the design by using the valve cover PCV setup. Cleans up the back of the block and does the same thing. :thumbs up

I understand but that would confuse me stating obd2 does not have it. lol So basically, all but obd2 non vtec's have the breather. Now we're all caught up. haha
