body kit

hey
i just bought a 96 integra se and i wanted to put a nice body kit on it but im not sure which...its too hard to tell over the internet which ones will look good....any suggestions on which brand to get or the type you might have?

I agreee with JDMxDB8, kits are rice. Stick with a nice front lip, shave the door moldiings, and maybe a nice rear lip.

some kits look good as long as they're done right

keep it simple if you do a body kit. I personally like to stick to lips because body kits are usually goddy and usually dont fit very well either.

Since you have a 96, I recommend getting a JDM Si-VTEC or USDM Type R front lip.

does just having the front lip make the car look offset...should i get a rear lip or side skirts or just stick with the front?

I agree.

Look into the USDM ITR/Comptech '97 Lip and then paint the side skirts to match the body color.

If you need a bodykit, look into the Wings West lip kit. Even though it's technically considered a body kit, it's probably one of the better looking ones IMO.

Check out the OEM optional kit.

And Jason beat me to it but yeah check out the WIngs West lip kit its a body kit but more on the restrained and tasteful side of kits.

The OEM Optional kit wouldn't kit. Well, just the side skirts would, the rear wouldn't neither would the front. This is what the WW kit looks like.

G3teg97...that WW kit you just posted...is pictured for a 2 door...on the wings west website it says that it is for a 4 door?

i have a 2 door..would it still fit?

if you like body kits, i'd say get one. it's your car, get what you like. there's no point putting money towards making it look like every other integra if you don't like it. :twocents: "rice" is doing whatever everybody else is doing just because it's the "cool" thing to do, not because you like it.
