blacked out taillights?

im thinking about gettin that nightshade stuff or some tint to put on my tailights...i have those jdm taillights


so i heard that in california you have to be able to see the taillights illuminate from 500ft away and you have to be able to see the red reflection when a light is shone on it.

does anyone know if those 2 things will happen with nightshade or tint? i really dont feel like going through that whole fix-a-ticket bullshit.

In Washington you cant darken your taillights at all.
I imagine California, since everything is worse there, you can't either.
Personally tinted taillights are dangerous it's tough to tell in the daytime if your breaking.
But thats my .02 cents.

Sorry but those are not JDM tail lights. As a matter of fact, all OEM integra tail lights are the same, respective to their years. USDM is the same as JDM.

yeah bro. those tail lights are a no go with a lot of people on here.

94-97 usdm tail lights are a bit dark with amber blinkers
94-97 jdm tail lights are the same with no reflector/bulb in the corners
98-01 usdm tail lights are a bit brighter with red blinkers
98-01 jdm tail lights are as bright as the usdm ones with amber blinkers and no reflector/bulb in the corners
98-01 ukdm/edm type r tail lights are as bright with clear/light pink blinkers with no reflector/bulb in the corners

youd end up getting ticketed with darkened tail lights. leave em as is or pick up some oem ones. i actually have my 94-97 tails still if youre interested.
