black or white? and no im not racist

I say i like the sexy look of black on cars, I personally find the white paint on cars makes it look like you were too cheap to get a colour(I know this isn't really the case). White done real nice is nice but black polished is hot as hell(as in sexy). I say if you really want to be different go with a non stock colour, like the Subaru blue or something, but that's completely up to you. My vote on Black VS White is definitly black :thumbs up

well coin toss doesnt mean shit, so black it is!

i saw a couple cars that have been painted white, and the different shades just looks like ass, so getting nighthawk black pearl mixed up sunday by a buddy that works at a dealership. house of kolor is the supplier for them so its gonna be a dent in the wallet but o-so-worth it. guns are soaking in some thinner as we speak :)

but anyone know if i can rent better guns anywhere? vertical feed is possible? For now, im using my dads guns (from the 80's) which are bottom feeds, and he said they get clogged up faster and if there not cleaned after every body part painted, they will start to splatter or something like that? any painters here? I'm not gonna be the one spraying because i dont want my inexperience to ruin it, so my buddy will be spraying for me.

well this nice day cant be ruined by computer talk, so off to the garage for the god awful sanding, and body work!

you can rent guns at some body shops, i know in my area they have few left over paint gun, out of date(not 80s though) that they lend out for people to use. not sure how much though, cause my uncle the painter in the family :lol:

night hawk is nice but I prefer a little gold flake in my paint, would match your rim choice btw.. granada black pearl ftw! goodluck post pics when done

I was going to go with NHBP, but 8urcivic's comment is making me turn a direction towards FBP

That nighthawk has a blue tint to it, but flamenco has a deeper black. I wanted the deeper black. Didn't want the summer sun to shine on my car and see a tint of blue lol. Just look the sticker on your driver side door for the color code of your car and search the color. It'll tell you what color you have.

When I got my mirror painted at the body shop the mirror had some barely noticeable blue specs in the paint. The rest of my car has more of a purple hue to it when the sun hits it just right. Either way, neither of the colors are very noticeable unless all the conditions are right and you're at the correct angle.

Here is a decent shot of my black teg with optional sideskirts and a front lip in all black... and below is a pic of my teg blacked out when I first bought it.. get tickets for dark tint in Iowa

Pros for the Black look: the amber corners and side markers pop real good and I threw some red Tenzo R seats in and the black teg with red seats looks great imo.

nice choice. i have a red 97 gsr and i want to paint it champ white. what does the frost look like anyone? i like the white on black. i just bought some black buddy club rims. i like the sound of your theme with your rims and roll bar.
