black or white? and no im not racist

well its time to paint the money pit....i mean project, and I cant decide on a color. Wheels are gold rota slips and they are staying that. My beater now is white, and in her prime years i just fell in love with the white on gold, but the project is black and the black and gold combo is growing on me. Here is some pros/cons of the colors...

Black integra cons,
-hot as hell in the summer (no ac or ps, and black interior).
-shows dirt like a boss.
-doesnt show the details i like about the car.
-black car with black interior just seems like too much black, im not going for the murdered out look.

Black integra pros,
-black is just sexy hands down
-there isnt any other black integras in my area
-black ive been told by a few reputable painters is easier to paint (comments?)
-the car is already black

White integra cons,
-there is some dick head running around with a white integra acting like an idiot, and I get confused with him almost every day, especially by the girls parents, and we all know where that goes.
-also shows any significant dust or anything.
-white with black tint just doesnt look right to me, and i need tint for driving (wink mirror, so no sunvisors sucks every morning, and the sun seems to get perfectly on the side of my sunglasses)
-the same painters have also told me white is a bitch to paint, and its hard to get to come out good (again comments?)

White integra pros,
-white and gold just look so tits
-the front end going on the car is already white
-not so hot in the summer
-white exterior/black interior just look amazing.

Any opinions or pics would be cool, also if anyone could post pics with a 94-97 front end with a lip, paired up to some optional skirts, and 94-97 rear bumper, that would be cool too, trying to see what it looks like.

Most of the asian wannabe "gangsters" around my area drive black cars and black tegs and think they are fast.

ha noice, but im not gonna be in cali anytime soon as im on the other side of the United States of 'Merica in Delaware, but yeah most douches here drive black cars, but there isnt any other black integras in my area. and i really dont wanna look like a douche. but thanks for the input

I don't have any pictures, but I'd say, if you're willing to detail your car like every month, you should do black. If you're lazy and will just wash the car ever so often, I'd go white since it's more forgiving. Black on gold is just as sexy as white on gold. If you're going championship white, then I heard that that's a hard color to mix, nicely. I don't think frost white should be that hard, but I'm just guessing.

You already know your answer than! You already did pro/cons for white Vs black

I've had both colors for teg. Taffeta white (now) and grandea black pearl(first car) and black shows more dirt than white. I can go 2weeks without a wash and it still would look as bad as black would. Black and yellow pollen sucks! White is harder to paint cause its harder to match color,if a shade is off your notice it. But red is the worse!plus fades quicker. There a few white tegs in my area, but I found a way to be different. both colors can be pulled off really nicly if done properly.

Yea I didn't want to bring up the tint factor, but black on black looks dull imo and white with dark tint is nice contrast.. Looks cleaner imo
But hey tints not for everyone!

dude its really gonna be up to u what u wanna paint it, i think that u will have about a 50/50 on either color, when i was looking for my car before i found it i was actually looking for a black car, i wasnt even really considering white until i saw it and fell in love :nod: now i cant even imagine owning a black teggy now lol, unless i buy another car :lol:

if i were u id probably personally get it painted white, but since its not my car and i dont have any sentimental value over it nor do i have a reason to paint my car, i say u should get it painted black lol, as long as its done correctly if u spend maybe 5 -10 mins every week wiping it off/cleaning it, the car will look ballin' especially with the gold rims :thumbs up

I always have the same indecision when I'm buying a car. I either want it black or white. They both look very nice for different reasons. Bought my teg black cause that's what I found. Now I'm addicted to turtle wax black box. One thing about black cars, nothing shines nicer after a good detailing.

There are a few threads with "post pics of your black integra". I'll PM you one since it's from another forum don't want to get in trouble here.

My opinion: black or white... Good choice!

I do believe black with black interiors looks very sexy

And with gold rims even hotter!!

drum roll please..................

ok so i flipped a coin and it came out to white so im gonna stick with champ white, or frost white whichever i can get mixed up for cheaper. but i think i have an idea of getting best of both worlds lol, gonna repaint the engine bay and the inside of the car black (excluding door sills). then the roll bar is getting a dose of gold to match wheels. got the NRG black with red stitch recaro "style" seats, already has gold NRG removable hub just gotta find a wheel. getting black carpet and black interior. and the headliner is gonna be a sick gold black and red plaid i found (door panels, arm rest, and wink mirror are getting the same) the engine bay is getting a black block and head with a gold vc to also match wheels and roll bar. but build thread will be up soon

O and picking up super mad fresh JDM YO! front end this weekend or next weekend.

but does anywhere know where i can get custom harness' made? i know there gonna be a pretty penny but plaid harness' would be ridiculously legit.

this is the plaid, but its fabric and it has gold in it also
