I just looked up the Zx6, the 250R looks just like it. Haha I've read a bunch of reviews on it and it sounds like the perfect bike for me. Tame enough that it'll be a lower consequence learning platform and won't bite me in the butt, but quick enough to still have fun on it. Plus they're pretty cheap. 5 grand brand new here. If the guy interested in my wing follows through I could pick up a used one stateside.

Looks like a pretty nice set of gear. I like the helmet.

Fucking sweet!

Exactly like it? When did the zx6 get a single headlight? No attention to detail...

That was mainly pointed at 94rs since he talks about his dislike of sportbikes so much

94RS

No fucks given.
Side of it kinda looks like the 07 ZX6. I never said "exactly" either though

But the 08-12 Ninjette was definitely inspired by its bigger brother.

They sort of always have, They still have model names though, zx10r, zx6r, 250r etc.

The zx6 is also still a 636 rather than a standard 600.

94RS

No fucks given.
When did they bring back the 636? I know for a few years they had both the 636 (R) and the 600 (RR) but discontinued the 636 engine in favor of the 600.

Brave or crazy enough?

People would call me crazy but it's not because I'm dumb enough to do, I just believe that I can do it.

If given the chance, 100%, I'm there, Getting the chance to race in one of the most prestigious and historical motorcycle races of all time would be worth putting my life on the line.

What a miserable day lol, First time riding dirtbike in like half a year and it sucked ass! First I couldn't find my gear for like a hour, Than I took an hour to get my bike started, Had to move like 3 cars to get to the trailer, Hooked up the trailer, Loaded the bikes and strapped them down, put everything needed in the van. I was wore out by the time I got to the track. Than 2 laps in my rear wheel locked up. (I was sliding through the turns for no reason and my bike got slower and slower I was like wtf than it finally locked up). Sat there for a couple minutes and started just messin with the rear brake setup to try to fix it. Opening the bleed valve and reclosing it fixed it. Not sure what's up with that.

Also my bike has like 10000 different bolt/nut sizes so you need every wrench ever made. I didn't have like anything. Was using vice grips on like everything. Than my brother hit a pot hole going like 40 mph and launched him off the back and the back was like 25 feet in front of him in the end. I came over the last jump at the track and seen like 10 people running in 1 direction and I looked over at the trailer to see if my brother was there or not and he wasn't so I was like aww s*** lol. Than seen someone looking at me pointing in the direction of everyone running so I went over there. He was straight but he's gonna be sore as f***. He had road rash all over.

Ripped the new pro taper grip I just put on yesterday (went down once on throttle side). I've never went to the track in my life without braking a lever or grip. Lol It was a pretty s***ty day over. Pretty sure my brake was dagging the whole time cause the bike felt slow as hell. I wish I had a truck to make it easier. Have to do so much s*** in order to goto track it gets you tired before you even go.

Get a new 300! They are sick and a biiit faster. My buddy had a 250.. Yeah it was slow as ballllz. But I'm fast as hell so I guess it's all relative to your experience level haha.

Considering they're the same price as the 250r, if I find one I would definitely take it. I'll have to give insurance companies a call once I get closer to having the bike.

I also need to find out if I'm able to stop my car insurance for the summer without losing my experience while the bike is on the road, since I'm more than likely not able to afford both.
