Bleh...

RC's are getting hard as fuck to find, and most of them aren't very desirable...

The thought crossed my mind of going and getting that job at the tire shop and just saving until I can put down a decent sized down payment on a 2012-2014 R1. I didn't really want a super nice bike to take cross country, I mean the RC is no turd but people wouldn't mess with it like they would an R1.

Still looking like my best option though, I don't know how the pay is at that shop but I imagine I could have it payed for within 12-14 months. I'll have to ride in squidward mode for awhile, MX boots, knee pads, helmet, gloves and a jacket/back protector.

What do...

The grey one for $1150 is at a dealer, most of the ones listed are at dealers so I'm sure they could be talked down in the 10k area.

The 09-11s are still going for 8-9k here.

You find one for that price, you better fucking buy it.

:smackself:

Hopefully I can find a black or a grey one.

I think I'm decided that that's what I wanna do, even if I had the money for an RC it'd take me a year or longer to find one that hasn't been bro'd out or beat to shit.

I can't get started on it until I finish up helping build this room into my house, after that's done in a month or so then I can go get a real job again ( hur-fuckng-ray :rolf: ) and go get a proper bike.

Assuming I actually stick to what I say I'm gonna do, I'm getting fucking terrible for that shit and it's pathetic...

So since sean wrecked the gixxer, I'm the only one left with any kind of bike? This is shit...

And the XB is the weirdest fucking bike when it comes to heat. Short ride up to vatozone, come back and let it sit for 30mins or so... The frame is still hot as fuck, yet the headers are cool to the touch :rolf:

Isn't the oil in the frame? The XR would do that too.

sean's gixxer is still ridable as far as I know, he wrecked it at a track day and continued running laps afterwards, his dumbass just chopped the throttle and lowsided.

And I still have the z50/yz, fucker.

The frame is the gas tank. Look at how fat the swingarm is... THAT is the oil tank

I'm guessing that when he got home, he tucked it away by throwing a tarp over it, never to be ridden again. Then he did a little 'personal' tucking of his own.

And I still have the z50/yz, f***er.
Neither of which run

Exhaust piping gets the hottest but it also cools fast because it's just a thin hollow pipe, so I guess the cylinders and shit being tucked up in the frame makes it hold heat, hot gas is shit though, especially if it manages to boil.

So I did some research, read some stuff, added it all up. If that tire shop deal works out (They've been wanting me to come put an application in for months) I should be able to outright pay-in-full with cash for the R1 in 7-8 months assuming things go smoothly and there are no emergencies that require spending large sums of money.

So now I'm ready for these fucks to finish this addition so I'm back to being able to do my own thing, idk how long that will take since the weathers been fucking us over the last few days but here's hoping by Christmas or early next year I'll finally have a bike I can rub in your fucking faces until you get fed up and block me on here and facebook :rolf:

Well that's also shit . All of my other bikes, the headers stayed hot longer than the engine... And hopefully my gas isn't boiling either :rolf:

You own two Fords... There's gonna be at least one emergency that requires a large sum of money.

It's the other fuckers you gotta worry about getting annoyed... I can still rub being able to ride during winter in your face

K&N came in. Since I couldn't find pictures online of an XB with the "tank" removed that were bigger than a thumbnail, here's this

I don't think the filter was ever changed in 34k miles...
