Being a 1 of 30 homologation special kinda adds to that too... :lol: The other one with the gold wheels is just a regular KZ1000R1 or R2. Those normally go around 4-5k.
Homologation... As in they had to make a certain number of the race bikes for sale through dealerships in order to race them. The same way Harley did with the VR1000 in the 90s (50 bikes) and EBR with the 1190RS a few years ago (around 100 bikes).
I'm guessing you're probably either used to MotoGP rules where the bikes are purpose built prototypes, or WSBK rules where the bikes are based on ones in production.
