I'm thinking of also picking up another set of fenders off of eBay and chopping them up a bit to give it more of that "tracker" look I'm wanting.

Reason I'm not cutting up the ones I have now is because if for whatever reason I want to return it back to stock, I'll have the parts already in decent enough condition.

New headlight, brackets and the HID installed. I ended up reusing the signals as the bolts to hold the headlight on there instead of those big ass rusty fuckers.

And yes... Hiding the HID wiring, relay and ballast on an old naked bike was a total pain in the dick.

Going off of what the KZ riders group on FB told me, the gauge bulbs were supposed to be 194's, they ended up being BA9S bulbs. So the LEDs went into the signal slots in the cluster instead.

Go figure I open up the cluster and what I though was a burnt out bulb on the "High Beam" slot turned out to be the bulb just rattling around inside the fucking cluster :smackself:

Oh, and I also picked up the engine from the blaster today.

Nope, decided against it. After having it blasted, the engine is way too clean to cover up :lol:

The engine itself is still sitting in the plastic tub in the back of the rapewagon since the side covers are still sitting (since the 18th) at the plating shop I work for. They've been closed since the 23rd, so I haven't done a fucking thing with it...

I also still have to pull the starter off the old engine and clean all the dust off/out of the new engine. All of the visible crusty ass bolts are getting replaced with polished allen bolts.

I say paint it anyway, the bare aluminum will just get dirty in a few months anyway, best to do it while it's out. :mrgreen:

I just don't like the silver/bare frame.

That one also has GPR high mounts, which make it look even better.
