Back w/ the Honda Game a lil bit v.DD

last weekend...spent $50 to find out my compressor is trash instead of having cold a/c...so now i'm sweating in my damn car. they fucked up my rims, my starter went out (all last weekend, not including the mass amount of BS this whole year).

last night when i came home from the grocery store, my car was sitting there overheating...topped off coolant once the car cooled off enough, ran it...my fan isnt coming on (CTS per gurley's 'mechanical skills') and today i was already supposed to go to advance, pending rain, to swap out my dizzy because it damn near left me stranded an hr from home. basically went into the nike outlet..came back bout 10 minutes later, tried starting the car, it wouldnt start..let it sit for a while and it started up..barely.

i have some things that's really pending that i cant even touch and get done w/ because this car keeps throwing me curve balls

Lame as fuck. Dizzy issue sounds like the icm.. they heat up and quit working, then sometimes start working after they sit for a little. Hope ur luck gets better man..

preciate it bro..i'll keep that in mind. i plan on getting a used OEM dizzy sometime soon when i find someone selling one

lol it just sounds like you have regular maintenance issues brother. Gurley asked me what I thought it was homo. I would change out the coolant temp sensor and the thermostat if it's overheating. Definitely change out the temp sensor if the fan isn't kicking on unless that died which is easy to check as well.

HMU about that sensor..if i dont personally set this shit on fire...

SO ANOTHER PROBLEM...i'm coming home from work, absolutely no bashing driving hella slower than i normally do anyway. i come to a stop light. shift from 1st to 2nd..fine...try to go from 2nd to 3rd...i got nothing...i'm locked out of all gears except 2nd...like seriously?!?!? WTF?!?!? I CANT CATCH A FUCKIN BREAK!!!

Have you tested the fan relay? Before u blow money.
what the fuck bro?! Sounds like u are walkin in my shoes man I know how that goes. Its never one thing, gotta be everything at once.

naw i havent tested it..truthfully i dont even know the first step into testing it...i know somehow you can shoot power straight to the fan to see if the fan is bad or if it's another issue, but if i remember correctly it's been working as of late, it's just...this car doesnt want to live, and i'm on the brink of pulling parts off and giving up

check the cable. Make sure its not binding anywhere or loose at its mounting bracket. Then id also check the linkage. Very cheap, simple possiblities.


for you to only have one gear seems like it can be one of those. Most transmissions will have atleast two gears per stalk. So id think you would only loose 2 gears.


Like I said, this is only to help you diag. I could be 1000% wrong.
