Back into Honda's, got a dc2 project today

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. This is my first post. My name is Ivan and i was into hondas about ten years ago. Well the honda bug bit me again and I picked up a 94 dc2 shell today. It was a stripped theft recovery so Im planning on building it up. I will keep you all posted on me build which will probably take me a while. On the bright side I work for a very well known auto parts manufacturing company (CROWER) so I can get good prices on all my engine and head internals. My goal for this car is a fully built, bored and stroked, and turbo. Wish me luck, I will post picks of the ride asap

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I am now waiting on a 96 gsr motor I may be purchasing. Once that comes in I will tear into it and go to work with a shopping list. Im also in the market for a tranny. This may be a dumb question but do I need a hyrdro or cable tranny? and should I keep my dc2 obd1 or go obd2 with the new motor?

welcome back to the real world :), i'd pick a hydro trans and obd1 cuz it's a 94 and u r doing a turbo eventually. lmk if you want an s80 tranny

how much would you want for the tranny? and what is it from, isn't the s80 used in a few different cars ITS, LS, GSR?

Yes Way!!! lol I do all the advertising and graphic design. It's hard for me to get discounts they all know what car I drive and know I just recently started this new dc2 project.

I will post some pics some time this week, the car is now safely stored in my uncles tow yard. I dont have a camera so I will have to use my phone for now.

Well after a while of not doing much with the 94 shell I ended up picking up a 94 GSR that needs some TLC for a pretty good deal... I've been doing minor repairs and maintenance on it. I plan on doing a JDM front end on it soon and want to build the motor up a little just add more power to the daily driver
