some guy bought it from a junkyard of motors. He wanted to do the project but didn't have time.. he had it on his backyard laying around so I took care of it! 100% legal with papers.

friggin lucky id say :p you dont c them often :p were they sold in the US? or is it prolly an import (from the first owner before thejunkyard i mean)

The b20b come on the 96,98 Honda cr-v, the specs are hp, 126@ 5400 rpm, torque, 133@ 4300 rpm, yummy the only 4 banger from honda that has more torque than hp, comp 8.8,1, spec without a vtec head, theyre rather cheap going for about 800 buck for a longblock, the better of the one is the b20z, came on the 99,01 cr-v has a diferent head, IM, AND and has vtec sized valves, the specs are 143 hp @ 6200, torque 133 @ 4500 comp 9.6:1, so for alot less money that a b16a put this on a eg hatch and go SI hunting

I'm bringin this back!

What cams and cam gears are you using? And what did you use to tune with? Are you using your GSR tranny?

stock B16 cams for the lose! :( with AEM cam gear at 0,0
nothing to tune with, stock P72 GS-R ECU
Yep using stock GS-R Tranny with ACT clutch kit.

oh and I installed obd2 H22 injectors.. still no tune.

thanks for bringing this up.. motor's running just fine for daily driving duties 8)
and running the NSX brakes for those who are wondering.

Yeah, I'm debating doing a similar build. Most likely go with the B18C head, JDM ITR pistons, Skunk2 Stg2 cams, fully build valvetrain. Get it TUNED!!!
