I have not tried looping my crank sensor wires. I looped my 2pin service check connector and pulled a code 3, code 9, and a code 21. Code 3 = MAP sensor high/low input. Code 9 = Cylinder Position Sensor no signal / intermittent interruption. I still want to try swapping out my obd2 distributor with a known good one. I'm using a GS-R MAP, but the sensor was working fine when the B18c1 threw the rod. And I can disregard the Front VTEC solenoid code. The distributor has an internal coil, CKP, CYP, and TDC sensor. Maybe I was shipping the motor with a bad distributor?
Still running in circles. I added another ground wire from my head to the body and plugged my 02 sensor bung hole for now. Maybe I'll need to resort to finding an obd2 B20b ECU
