u would be suprised. you can make 200 plus out of a b18c and theres barely any difference in displacement.
b17 specs-Displacement (cc):
1678
Power (bhp@rpm):
160 @ 7,600 rpm
Torque (ft/lbs@rpm):
117 @ 7,000 rpm
Compression Ratio:
9.7:1
Bore (mm):
81
Stroke (mm):
81.4

b18 specs
HP: 180hp@7600
Torque: 129 lb-ft@6200
Redline: 8200 rpm
Diplacement: 1797cc
Compression Ratio: 10.6:1
^that's flywheel hp.... not wheel hp....

i know this. But if u truly "fully" build it. Im sure u could get damn close to 200whp. Im talking High comp, stage 3 cams and adjustable cam gears, new valves, valve springs, all the bolt ons, and a tuned and chipped ecu. Set everything up spot on and tune it out on a dyno and im almost positive u can make 200whp.

And depending on how high that compression ratio is you'll have to run 100+ octane to keep from knocking...taking you into the $5.00 per gallon race gas realm, and out of the pump gas DD realm.

100CC is a big difference in displacement in our sub-2liter engines.

How much power would you say? or estimate.
With my current setup over 225. With a better header and intake manifold on the cams I currently run I could get pretty damn close to 240. You guys are focusing too much on displacement. The reason you guys don't see big numbers on a lot of these builds people do is because they're not running high enough compression ratios and they are running mild cams. skunk 2 stage 2s or my buddy club stage 4s aren't shit. If I threw some Jun stage 3s or Rocket MX25s I could easily push over 250hp at a reasonable rpm.

I'm also running 13+:1 cr and have not had any problems on 93 octane.

id say 200 or a lil more out of a full build straight whp. Please keep the b17. They are very few and far between and they are great engines.
You know how some peoples dads and grandpas keep thos old chevy and for trucks until they die? Well I plan on keeping my DB2 until I die 2. lol.

I also have a 1992 Integra GSR, Aztec Green Pearl to be exact lol but yeah a fully bilt N/A B17 will only see 200 HP...now you may see less than that at the wheels so lets keep it at 200 HP lol but finding performance mods are a pain, not everyone has parts for the DA/DB Integras so we have to look long and hard lol swaps are encouraged unless you're a believer in keeping it original like myself...check out i think last months or the month before Honda Tuning they had a guy with a '91 Integra with a crazy H motor swap...sick as fuck...I dont post much because I spend a lot of my time reading lol but I def wouldn't mind seeing more DA/DB LOVE OUT THERE!!!!!!

All you guys who think that you can only get 200hp out of a b16/b17 are nuts. Also, any performance part for a b16 will work on the b17, just a thought, so I don't know why you are having a hard time finding parts.
