B16a or B18b?

I have a b16a on my 4dr DA. I like it. Doesn't have much toq than the b18 but it's ok. Once vtec kick it's all good. Plus I just really want a DD. Yea b16a is better on gas millage than a b18. I might turbo it, still debating. It's really up to you. Good luck.

i have a buddy with a 93 ls with an b16 xsi in it. its a good DD and gets good mileage. i currently have a swapped b18a1 with an SIr b16 trans and i walked all over his car plus i get 5-10 mpg more per gallon. the short gearing is perfect for in town driving but trips can get loud if you have after market exhaust. depends on what your looking for though. b16s are torqueless wonders but have lots of potential. LS's are a dime a dozen and cheap and easy to replace or fix. both are good motors for DD and have lots of potential with boost as well.

what about the b18a1? i have that in my 1990 gs. is it worth building or should i just save up for a b18c1?
