well a gsr tranny is ideal for a turbo teg. the reason u see so much ls trannys is probably cause they r cheaper. i have a ls tranny on my turbo teg and the gearing is way to long so im having to change my final gear to a 4.72 so it will be more like a gsr.

from what ppl around me to is have ls because of the longer gear so they can stay out of boost more dd. i would go b16 for prfomance.more exhuast flow earlyer.

The LS tranny is fine for boost. There is no point in changing to something with shorter gears really. Don't mess with it unless you're tranny is trashed. The money could be better spent elsewhere I'm sure

B16 tranny is great for all motor. Not so much for a boosted FWD

all the FDs are 4.4 lol but as far as the LS just mean you stay in gear longer its all pref and some people dont like shifting into 5th at the track but as long as you rev high enough it doesnt matter. a B16 witha 4.05 fd is the way to go lol

if you rev high enough you could always stay in vtec :thumbs up

I'm keeping my longer tranny on the D. What's the point in having the power if you're just going to spin the wheels till 3rd gear anyways?

you want the longer gears for turbo, when you start messing with boost you want to stay in
the power band as long as possible, especially when dealing with a nice size
turbo. With a GSR tranny you probably have a small turbo and not feeling a big diffrence.
Notice how I said small and big turbo's. You need the LS gears to see the true side of that turbo coming
to life8)

LS, GSR trans are fine for all kinds of boost

B16 and typeR trans is alot better for All Motor apps. especially with higher compressions.
