hey everyone... i have a 92 ls aztec green (only ls because i couldn't find a gs-r) and i have finally found an aztec green gs-r and i'm posting this thread to see weather i should or should not buy the car as a rebuild or part swap car. its a great condition gs-r with minimum rust, extremely clean interior, super clean motor with 70000 kms on a rebuild engine/ tranny for $1000.
the only thing is it was in a minor front end collision and it has some damage. the hood it crunched a bit, the fog lights are busted, the windsheild is cracked in several spots, but my big concern is the upper rad support. the support has been bent in a little bit and its now kinked in about an inch. this is stopping the hood from latching down at the moment. i was told that i could cut it out and replace it ,but i was also told that it could be pulled out and put back in place and straightened out. <------which would work best. i have all the parts needed to repair the car. i'm thinking... worst care senario is that i'm stuck with a useless gsr shell but i get a b17a1 and ys1 gs-r tranny for $1000 with all the parts my ls will ever need. plus its hard to turn down the opportunity to buy a super rare aztec green gs-r..... any thoughts would be great.

i think i've made up my mind... its my realistic dream car and i think i'd hear alot of shit from everyone on here if i turned it down not to mention how much i'd end up regretting not buying it..... if all goes well and i get it, i'll be doing a rebuild thread soon.

depends how bad it is.but if you do cut it I would recommend a shop doing it cause what I heard is that it must mounted perfect

if you look in the link above.... the image of the engine... in the bottom right corner you can see the bend on the rad support... i think its able to be pulled back into place... i think.
