AWD integra?

could you ever get an AWD integra, or how could you make one.. if there is away.. any idea? i'm sure there were none in the US.. but who knows?

they made one in Japan. It was called the XSI. they also did a write up in Honda Tech or Import tuner, I cant remember. The AWD system though was more of a a rear wheel assist. It was like 80-20. Meaning 80% front and 20% rear.

i've seen a video of an AWD integra drifting... it was some pretty cool shiz... but it'd be very very expensive and the 80/20 would absolutely blow chunks

the XSI came in the G2 body. I believe that it was around for 90 through 92. but i am not totally sure. If you are really intrested in how to make an AWD teg, go to Honda Tuning

Yeah one of the Honda Tuning mags had an article on one dropped into a G3. I can't remember alot of it, but I do know they used a CRV drivetrain.

Oh yeah, major mods. I'd only do the AWD integra if I had a butt load of money cuz its almost figured every time you take out the car, you'll brake something.

AWD Integra

my friend owns a shop, someone came in with an awd integra type-r turbo with an aftercooler. 766hp. it costed him a pretty penny though, around 10 g's just for awd. but it was no 80-20 schyt. it was like what WRX STi has now. this thing would smoke a maclaren F1. it ran a 1/4 mile in the high 8's
