No car is really unstealable. If a theif wants it bad enough, he/she will get it. The alarm system I saw that I want is about $1000. It has this car jacker's feature on it. Basically everytime the driver's door opens you have to put in this code to drive. If not, your car will make it maybe a block then just shut down completely.

damn all that security stuff is xpensive! i just bought a viper 350 alarm w/ Backup Battery.. maybe dat'l b more helpful.. but ya you can NEVER have tooo much security.. the more the better.. :shock:

Exactly. Never too much security. I like the pager thing too. That shit is tight. I can see it now, I'll be sitting in class and my pager goes off. I'll jump up and fly out the classroom like nobody's business.

glassmite is a lil sensor they place inside of the car, if the sound of glass shattering, it will set of the alarm, they have this other sensor thing i just forgot the name, it works, your car is programmed when its parked. it will take the angle that is at and make it a set point. now once a degree of the car is moved up or down it will set off a alert, but if it doesnt return to the orginal degree it will go off. thats for like when your car is gettin towed or somebody trying to jack your rims. i'm gettin a kill switch on my car..so when my car does get stolen i'll just kill the engine asap ...but it only has a radius of 1000ft. hehe so park close

i just currently have a hidden toggle switch witch cuts all power.
its not that much of a antiteft but it helps a little if the thief is timid and panics when he cant figure out why the car isnt getting any power.


jacked up part is last weekend. the switch connection fell off and i couldnt start the car. i had to wait until the next morning to fix the problem and is was too dark for me to see what was wrong. i also blew my ignition fuse when i was installing the switch and had to rig a ghetto fix in order to get the car going so i could go but a new fuse.

some of the security stuff is some hot $hit isn't it?? i mean that glassmite thing is pretty cool. and that thing that measures the angles of the car so people don't jack the rims. that's hella cool. i mean the rims are like the most expensive thing that just bolts on the car so they gotta be protected.

i definately plan to get a security system. i am thinking about the viper alarms. noticed that people have them. are they good?????

yea, viper and clifford are the same company if i'm not mistaken, but i like clifford brands better. i dunno if you guys have a car toys in your area, but they have good shit when it comes to alarms. circut city...well its ok, if your getting remote start..remeber there is 2 kinds, dont waste ur money check on it, before you buy it
