are there different JDM front bumpers?

hiatus is over. i'm back!
hi everyone... i searched but couldn't find anything.... i was wondering what the different bumpers for the jdm front are... seems like the OEM ones comes with that front license plate piece molded on... or are there OEM bumpers are are not that way? just curious... a buddy of mine is contemplating doing the frontend conversion

seems like it comes like that...its molded onto the bumper...at least OEM stock i think..

the main reason i'm asking is because i've seen a couple photos where the front bumper doesn't have that license plate moulding...

i couldnt tell but i wud guess so...hmm..im guessing because they are LHD that they arent OEM bumpers..dunno maybe they are from a type-r..mine is a gsr..but that grey teg ^^ is sex.... :)

i don't see how RHD vs LHD would make bumpers oem or not... the photos i posted are all teggies that have had a frontend conversion done...

buddy of mine is wanting to do it, so i'm trying to find out where to get bumpers without the front license plate moulding, since we don't have front license plates here. and yeah, that grey one... omfg

those bumpers are jdm style but theyre not the oem.. the oems have the license plate holder. possibly fiberglass bumpers.

yeah, but here in indiana we don't have front license plates. the state only gives us one plate for the car....

^^^ thats what i meant to say... :wstupid: mine is oem..not a conversion..

i was guessing that the oem comes with plate holder...where as the conversion (fiberglass??) front end does't...

I hate you. lol. I wish i didn't have to have a front plate on.

All the oem jdm front bumpers have the front license plate mount. People usually fill this in with bondo and smooth it out to cover up the holes. Doesnt mean they got another bumper they just filled this part of the bumper in. There is a mugen front bumper for the jdm front, and a few body kit companies make some aftermarket bumpers for the jdm front end.
