Sweating a lot causes you to lose a large amount of salt in your blood stream that is suplied to your muscles. That combined with dehydration is usually the cause of heat related crampsi think since i worked alot in the heat yesterday...mind you it was over 100 out side and over 120 in the plant, im cramping like a bitch today..i think im dying.
I know, i was in it for 7 hrs strait. Finally got a 5 min a/c break an before shift change. Gatorade and water didnt help me out much. Ill compare my self to a plasitc bag with holes in it. As soon as Id drink, it seemed like it would come out as fast. I hate this place.Sweating a lot causes you to lose a large amount of salt in your blood stream that is suplied to your muscles.
