yeah. at the time my sister in law & her baby, my mom, and my brother and i were home. i was actually taking a shower when it happened. i heard screaming i ran downstairs in my boxers, saw everyone jolting towards the front of the house. i ran towards the kitchen to grab the fire extinguisher, but by then the ceiling was already engulfed and about to collapse so i ended up running out when i couldnt find it.

Damn... So the fire started in the kitchen? Was anyone injured?

yeah it was from the kitchen stove which is positioned at the corner of the room which is not the same blueprint people use today since its so close to the walls. nowadays its more centered and away from perpendicular walls.

no one injured.

but i do realize that i made a stupid mistake by looking for the extinguisher even knowing that waves of flames had taken the ceiling. instincts i guess.

That is true. I've never seen a stove that's located at a corner before. Not wonder why. That's good that nobody was hurt.

Don't worry man. I probably would've done the same thing. It's the "Fight or Flight" instinct.
