I'm just bitter, I got some work to do this weekend.

Prothane engine mount install on a DSM FTMFL! :lol:

......unless you own a press, it's a bitch and a half....but worth the work

The front and rear mounts are inserts which is easy. You gotta either cut or burn out the left and right mount unless you have a press. If not, you burn the rubber part out and still have to cut the pressed in ring and beat it out. Not much fun.

You can't do the seals without pulling the head??? You don't have to on a 4g63......not too familiar with the 420a though

I'm not sure. I could see. They know people everywhere. I know some people at Ekstensive Metalworks and South Coast Customs in Houston. They know lots of people. EM builds some sick shit though and ya gotta pay to play. They aren't half assed cheapo kinda deal. They do beautiful work

If they were all inserts then it would be easy...but hey....can't bitch about full mounts instead of just an insert.

Just wait....one day you'll wanna put some energy suspension mounts into your suspension and I will get to laugh. I just refuse to pay someone to do it. It is easy with a press though. But most suspension bushings don't have the metal rings so........#$(^%

i already put the insert kit on my car. it didnt take that long... once we figured out how what we were doing haha. and the solid mounts were pretty simple just cuz its they were pretty much on the top. and i have a shop that we use to do all the work on our cars

The engine mount inserts are easy. But with the Prothane mounts for a DSM, only 2 are inserts. The others are full replacement mounts. Burning it out is easy too. Just hit with a torch and make a mess. But getting that ring out is a biatch. You gotta cut it with a sawzall or something being very careful not to go to deep and hit the housing. Then put a screwdriver on it and beat the shit out of it with a hammer
