shouldnt be hard to match them to this. Might be able to paint the inside of the housing black.

Tint them. It is easy. You could always just get some like 5% tint and put a layer on, if you want it darker then put another 5% over it. I've seen some do it that way and you can't tell. It looks clean if you do it good and you can get the darkness you want out of it. Just make sure you get all of the bubbles out and let each layer dry in between before starting another and make clean cuts on the edges

I think i might try to paint the housing first, i have black paint. So if it works, thats a free mod.

its ok, think i might get one of these collars. So my ITR boot stays under the knob, I wanted something under my shift knob too. This thing fixes both issues, now I need to put my stock shifter in.

There are cheaper ways. That one doesn't look bad though. When I put my short shifter in I just put a rubber o-ring grommet over the top of the shifter that way it held the boot up when you put it in.
The top of the boot wouldn't be able to slide over the grommet so I just tighten my knob till everything was solid.

It is irritating to see so many teggy's with droopy boots. I wonder why nobody ever thinks of something like that when they stick a different shifter in

I want a little space between my boot and knob, but no threads or shifter showing. My knob is tiny, so it will look better then the one in the pic.

My valve cover is done, now it just has to be shipped back.
