I think I'm going to clay bar the GST one day this week. It could use some love. I'm gonna wash it here in a minute when I take a lunch break though just because it is so dirty it looks brown

OMG, I used the Meguiars 3-step system. Well....I only used their step 2(polish). But wow! That makes the paint shine! My front end is so torn up though :(. Thin paint FTL! My front has chips all over it and peeling in 2 spots. I'll just have to paint it one day. Thunder Grey Subaru anyone?

huh?

2 of my friends did their S2k and G35 the other day it looked awesome. Makes me wanna do mine because my car gets so dirty with all the construction around my house. Plus mine runs just a little on the rich side. I need to lean it out so, if nothing else, my rear bumper will stay cleaner LOL

Wax....Lots of nice wax. You can wipe it off in one swipe. When my GST had the Thurmal thats what i did.

It is just way too rich though still. I may just lean it out a little on the MAF sensor. I have an aftermarket fuel pump on a car that doesn't need one. It only has an intake, plugs and wire, downpipe, exhaust and Wiseco pistons on a walbro fuel pump :???:

Whats the stock compression on a 4G63, didi the comression check on the VR4 and read pretty much 130 all across is that good?

130 is low but is in the limits. But not good

2g standard is 178 with the service limit at 133
1g is is 164 and 121.

Just makes sure you do it operating temp and at WOT. Alot of people do tests on cold engines. That is not accurate. Warm the car up first

VR4 and 1g have a 7.8:1 C/R. 2g's are 8.5:1 stock

I did my the test on my GST right before I bought it. Then I switched to Mobil1 full synthetic and drove for another 1000 miles and did it again. My results jumped by 8-10 psi across the board

Just adding a Walbro isnt going to give it more fuel. The pressures stay the same. It may give more up top (stock fuel pumps die off up high) because the HP Walbro's keep going up high. But wont add more fuel. Just has the ablility to flow more.

Walbro + leaky 2g BOV + raised boost = very rich

Especially up high where the BOV starts to leak under pressure while the fuel pump is giving a little more. It spits flames sometimes lol

I'm just gonna find a 1g BOV and lean it out a hair on the MAF sensor for now. Don't really feel like buying anything to tune it with
