where the fuck do you work?? minimum wage in cali is $7.50, but starbucks starts at $9.00. i hear in-and-out is $12.00...lol fucking farmer...living expenses must be DIRT cheap out there.

Hey man, you don't need to sell your neon just cause your leaving your job, just get a new one. There's alot of places out there that pay good and you don't need alot of experience, its just that the work is usually harder and there not advertised as much. There's a shipyard here that pays 25 an hour to build ships, no experience but you work long hours and its a hard ass job, I guess its all what you want, money or relaxation, getting both is where school comes into play.

My bad, but if you think about it, 20 an hour is only around 38k a year working a 40 hour week before taxes, thats not that much, I was making 45k a year before that. Once you start paying for a house, car, and all the other bills you starting noticing that what you thought was alot of money before isn't shit anymore.

over time was reguired...like...8 hrs a week some weeks. bc some weeks id work 36hrs and others 48..so it kinda just balanced out.

Sounds like hella overtime. I wish I made that much in year, but I dont want to work that much overtime. I can pay my bils as is,but with that much overtime I wouldnt be able to enjoy the extra money. I'm not sure how much I make a year right now, I just switched jobs and I am on commision now. I make hella more than I used to. Last year another salesman on my floor made 44k,...not too shabby for just talking to people all day long :p
