References In American culture
One of the earliest known references is made by MC Brother Marquis from 2 Live Crew on the album As Nasty As They Wanna Be (1989). In the song "C'mon Babe", Marquis says,
Bitch, you say you's gonna give me some
Now you wanna start acting dumb
You wanna play cat and mouse
When I catch you, I'ma stick my dick in your mouth
Now stop the teasin' and start the pleasin'
Just fuck me good until I skeet
Bitch, stop fakin', you need to quit it
C'mon, baby, 'cause we can do this!
This slang was later heard in songs by Lil' Jon & The Eastside Boyz (particularly in the breakout hit, "Get Low"), where they repeatedly use the word suggestively. In the radio edited version of "Get Low", "skeet" was used to replace more familiar profanities. "Salt Shaker" by Ying Yang Twins has the line "Skeet so much they call her Billy Ocean." It is also the focus of the song "Ya Get Skeeted On" by Dark Heartz. The slang usage and innuendo is further used in the hit song "Laffy Taffy" by D4L.
Curiously, the term is not censored by any public institution just yet. As Dave Chappelle on Chappelle's Show pointed out in a short monologue that questioned the term. "You know what's so dope about "skeet"? It's that white people don't know what it means yet... When they figure it out, they're going to be like, 'My God, what have we done?!'" Chappelle's hand motions while yelling "skeet" were somewhat suggestive of male sexual functions, especially ejaculation.
