not all of the 4g63 had it though. some of them from 95-98 were machined improperly. none of the EVO 4G63's, 1st gen eclipse, Galant VR4's and 99's ever had the problem. they never really knew how they got screwed up but it was an isolated incident and never happened again after 99. 95-96 was the most common. couldn't see how the problem could be related though since it wasn't designed wrong, it was just a fluke screw up somehow in the factory and they are made at different factories in different countries.

all i know is that when the srt4's get in the higher hp rhelms they can devlelop crankwalk. and since their using technology the 4g63's used theirs gotta be a relation somewhere

there is alot of engines that are made the same way. most aren't die cast blocks. the problem is that the engine originated in the Dodge Stratus :lol:
