Maybe if Rita would have hit full strength last year. It was the strongest ever recorded. not the strongest to ever make landfall .it weakened before it hit. thank god because it hit us. i just got shit canned drunk everyday during the hurricane. no power, work, school or anything. college town becomes one giant party

everbody got warned then and look what happened. i have to drive through that bullshit part of the freeway where the evacution got so screwed up everyday. my mom lives at the freeway exit where the shit goes from 6 lanes on each side to 2. right where shit hit the fan!

I'm too far north for that. I've seen it rip Galveston a new asshole a few times though

I drank inside when that thing hit. i still hit with like 160 mph winds even after it weakened. we just had no power or nothing to do for about 2 weeks. thank god i stocked on the essentials. Beer, charcoal, lighter fliud and meat

well it wasn't total no power. the shit was so messed up they would do a rolling blackout all throughout Houston. Not enough to power everyone at the sametime, but you would get about 8-10hrs of no power everyday. it always happened at the same time everyday by the school though. the power would go off at like 4-6 PM and come back on by 3-5 AM or so. so there is nothing to do at night but grille, turn on your car stereo and :beer:
