So if it's cranking really fast and not starting, I'm thinking the tensioner slipped. Thoughts?

sounds like it, oh no

The tensioner MAY have moved, but hard to say if it was that or just not tensioned properly in the first place. They can be tricky to tension. Your timing HAS to be off with what you are describing...

Whenever I time mine, I shut it off after running for a few secs, just to double check the tension. Tooo critical!
