Generally, no. Sorry to burst your bubble. I've tried it, even small distances are hard. But if you're in it to win it, don't take a couple of peeps on the internet advice.Question for ya'll: do long distance relationships ever work out?

Well she lives in 2 and a half hours away, its not THAT far. Only problem is both our parents are crazy, and they'd never let us go see eachother. We'd have to come up with some good excuses, I can always pull some excuse that I have to go there for planning for the leadership camp I go to as a counselor or be like oh hey all of us are having a reunion and she can always tell her parents shes visiting family (she has family near me). But like it would have to be on the DL so idk. And yeah I know but I figured most of you are older and have some experience so why not?Generally, no. Sorry to burst your bubble. You're right that isn't that far, but it's still not next door. It sucks that you have the crazy parent factor to deal with too. And I really feel bad for you that you gotta keep it on the DL, that's not what relationships are about. Just go with it dude, if it feels right, fuck whatever else anyone says. You gotta do what's right in your eyes.

Good to know. I really hope we can make it work.Boxy, two hours isn't too bad. My girlfriend and I lived two hours away from each other for two years. We made it work. It's doable.

well a month or so back my integra decided to go on its period, became a big b**** and started smoking like the headgasket was shot, my friend following me said it was like a fog machine lol so I came to a straight stretch of road and floored it to get home because i figured with how bad it was I was already gonna have to replace the parts I'd mess up. My luck just happened to be good and a cop was sitting along the road and saw me fly past doin what he clocked as 88.8mph. so I slowed down and pulled over and he wrote me up a ticket for the full speed i was doing and then i pled not guilty and waited for court. Turns out the headgasket wasnt bad it was just my intake manifold gasket leaking and the radiator cap was going bad still confused about that but back to the story, today I went into court and waited for the judge to call my name and when he called me up he said "today is your lucky day, the cop didnt show up so your not guilty. Just slow down, I dont really care about you just the other drivers on the road that you could hurt, now get outta here"
I'm pretty happy cause if he showed up I wouldve been supsended for about 3 months since I already have 3 points from when i totaled my last teg
