Time for an oil change. Been running mobil 1 synthetic ext performance 10w-30. I do live in so cal. I am pushing 200k miles.(198k) or so. Wondering if I should try another brand? It is pretty hot right now too. No overheat problems though. Just curious if i should use something else to due mileage and weather. Or stick to mobil 1

Here's a totally NEWB question....What does it mean "running rich"? Is it good? Is it bad? I never really got a good explanation on these things...Sorry.

From what I understand it deals with the amount of fuel sprayed by the injectors. Running rich is too much, running lean is too little. Neither are good. You need to be just right. OEM is 16° I believe but that could change based on your setup and mods. I've never messed with it though cause I never had to.
