Before someone asks yes i am 20 and yes i got my Cbr at 15 where i live it is legal to ride up to a 650cc motorcycle at the age of 15, I got a job 20 mins from my house to make payments and insurance costs, And when i wasn't working i was riding my bike to death but i always took it in for maintenance and valve adjustments and changed the oil every week

I want to get a nice cruiser bike, for road trips and riding to work every day, like my dad. He rides a Honda ST1300 every day to work, unless it's really bad rain.

I'm looking at either a Honda Rebel, or possibly an old school CBR. Currently a 96 CBR600 for $1800, but it's missing the tail section plastic and says there's minor mechanical problems, so who knows what that's about..

I can't fucking find that one, so how about these other Hondas? I have no idea what they go for.. Help is appreciated :D

I like the 929 and the f3 though unless you have a good back i wouldn't recommend them, Unless you're a MAN

lol? I'm 20, my back is in perfect shape. I got out of lifting 25 lb drums of Baskin Robbins ice cream while I had the chance.

Also, I found the F3 ad I was looking for. Claims it gets 65 mpg..?

And according to kbb, they're worth 1.5k, from the dealer. I got 10k saved up, I just want a nice beginner bike, and those old school Honda cruisers look sweet, and cheap.

A F2/F3 is a great starter bike. If you ride often and learn a lot then you can upgrade in a year. Shoot for at least 2 track days in that year. Dont be a scrub, buy safety gear and wear it.
