Hell, you could launch your car at 8000 rpms if you wanted to, you wouldn't catch much traction. I usually launch at 4500 and it grabs nice.

By tricks what do you mean?

yea, this guy was pulling at 5000rpm, without losing traction. By tricks to a gsr , i mean what can a gsr do. what makes a gsr different fromm the rest. How about double clutching? when to double clutch. U wanna sell ur skunk2 manifold?

double clutch is a stupid term that doesnt apply to drag racing that they used in the fast and the furious.

Double clutching is something you do when the transmission doesn't have syncros. But you see, our cars do, so you don't double clutch. The thing that sets the GSR apart from the others, IMO, is that it has an awesome top end with a compression that still allows you to boost and get real good numbers (power, q/m times, etc...).

As of right now, no I don't want to sell my intake manifold. My car may be down and out right now, but the engine is still healthy as an ox.

anyone know how to feather? i tried feathering but couldn't get any traction. Anyone believe that a bone stock gsr can hit 14.8?

Yeah at your sea level. Its possible. I'm 5500 ft about you and ran a 15.8 wih intake and exhaust only. its like a 1 to 1.3 second difference at sea level, so they say..

the fastest i've seen a stock gsr run was a 14.6 at sea level... the only thing done was spare/jack/stereo system was removed and so was the stock air box.... which i wouldnt recommend, there's debris on the track sometimes and no filter + debris = disaster

Why do u need to know how to feather...all u need to know is to drop it at about 4500 and that every recomended shift point in an integra is 8000...if u have a good clutch then u can power clutch it....my understanding of a power clutch and what i do when i race is not to let go of the gas pedal but clutch in and shift really fast so that ur not bouncin off ur revs

That method seems to work well from time to time. It all depends on your clutch as he said. And also how fast you can shift. I use to do it in my 88 Accord. It helped me then, and it has helped now.
