Okay, so I watched this on Saturday with my friend. At first, I was really amped and ready to go because the trailer looked good, but I was a bit disappointed at how slow it was. I don't know if it was because we didn't sleep until about 5AM that day or what, but I found myself struggling to keep my eyes open during the whole movie. I mean the facts and all that were intriguing, but I didn't like the way it was presented. I felt like I was in class again with all the graphs and what not (a LOT of lecturing). I think a lot of the theaters around here thought the same thing, because the only place that was showing it was at the Tower Theatres (somewhere downtown Sac). One fricking theater. A small one, at that.
Overall, there were really interesting points that were made throughout the entire movie. I would much rather have watched it on T.V. than in the theaters. It's one of those movies that should be shown on the Discovery or History Channel, not in the theaters. If I had known all I know now, I wouldn't have paid to see it. I'd wait it out.
