alarms dont do shit these days though. when people hear them go off its not like they get up to look out their window and say "hey someones breaking into that car over there" they just ignore them. so you gotta get something where you can like track your car down or make it so the car is unable to be driven away.

The whole purpose of the two way transponder is when the alarm goes off it alerts the little pager and tells you what's going on.

exactly that's why i'm going w/ a two way...i wanna know when my alarm is going off and on what part of my car

but it still does you no good if youre no where near your car. i mean yeah an alarm will make a theif think twice about getting into your car but if they really want in your car an alarm isnt going to stop them from doing so

lol... but again if youre no where near youre car its useless. thats why im trying to say you should have something else in your car besides the alarm. such as the fuel cut off... or something that will disable the vehicle in some way if broken into.
