If the car does have aftermarket cams, you should pull the valve cover to see if it has the springs and retainers to support the cams. After that, i'd check and see if the cars on a stock map or if its actually been tuned by a legit tuner.


Dont want to add too much power with out enough fuel. Lean does make power, but its not gonna last. lol

Yeah, thanks. The car has a aem ems that someone tuned for the guy I bought it from. Idle its at 14.4-9 at half throttle its about that too, then when I am barely on the throttle, it goes very lean, about 17. Then when I put my foot down it goes to about 12... seems like a very unstable tune, will have a friend help me tune it so it's a bit more stable. He did his and it runs perfect.

I cant get to the bottom screw of the dizzy, any trick to it? there is absolutely no space down there

Never mind, got it, used a wrench extender. With the cai and wire tuck, it was a pain

ok, this is what I see. had to take the valve cover off because the dizzy wouldn't budge.

i Have put everything back together now because i had to go somewhere but no, i didn't see any

if they are marked its going to be in between the lobes where the journals are or on the ends so those pics sent going to be much help
