Ok well here is my opinion, and mind you I am a noob in this whole integra/import community and am not even sure exactly what ricey/ricer means, but I'm guessing most of you would refer to my car as such... With that being said, I like my vehicles to be somewhat unique, yes I'm am a fan of body kits but I do think they can be over done. I have also seen some really clean stock and jdm rides. But to me the jdm rides are cool but they are all too similar. I like a little flash and even some things a bit extra.

So this is my car that I just got 2 days ago, so don't jump down my throat for the mods because obviously I didn't do them, there are some things I'd like to change but I think its a cool car...(especially for the price) bottom line is drive what you like who cares what anybody else thinks

this sir is rice.

whats stupid is that you compared with the wrong images.

its like comparing water to sand and ask what would you drink on a hot day. heres what you should use.

oem

i think people just automatically think body kits always look bad but like coy pointed out a few if done right do look good. personally i never seen a bodykit on a teg that looks good but they sometimes look good on other cars

thats simple. why would you put a body kit on a race car?
so that you can leave fiberglass all over the track.
why would you put 18 on a teggy?
why would you pull out half of your head light?
somethings are needed or useful. pulling your headlight out. hood prop. a then you have things that dont make sense. your building a race car and got 18's. really ?
I have no use for a body kit. or a jdm front end. some car are in need of body kits others look nice just with a drop. really its up to you what you do.
if we all build the same cars we would be bored. dress your car how you want or how you dress your self. like every one els or how you want

great words spoken ^^.. i agree completely with this. and also, not everyone is trying to turn their cars into race or performance cars.. yea ppl may want MORE performance from their cars, but i dont see u guys dropping thousands and thousands and thousands into ur cars to make them into a race car. cuz u might put all this money into them, but their still ur DD and thats just silly.. me, im putting alot of money, time, work, and effort into my GS-R so that it will be show quality.. not to drive around and catch ppls attention and brag about how the bulky but cool body kit makes it more aerodynamic or none of that shit.. my GS-R is strictly show, and i may drive it around on occasion just to keep the motor and stuff good, but my REAL race car wont even be on the streets at all.. itll be illegal on the streets... so where do u draw the line between DD and race car?? now, i agree on the subject hit on by coy that body kits look like hot spanked ass if done wrong, but if done right, i think they look hella clean.. and y does body kit = ricer ALL the time? do u NOT like to stand out a lil bit and do ur own thing? is it bad for ppl to be able to stand out? cuz i like my car to catch ppls attention.. maybe u can go with the flow and never stand out, but i will stand out.. and i totally agree with the its your car your style thing also, so thats y i do the body kit.. my style.. i just dont like the way everyone classifies u as a "ricer" cuz u do what u like to ur car.. i dont try and push my style onto anyone, so y would anyone try to push their style onto me? sorry this is so long, just trying to hit the valid points i liked in this thread all at once. so my final statement is, ill do me, u do u, and lets just leave it at that, dont criticize my car like ur trying to buy it, and i wont criticize urs.

oh and one more thing.. i do agree with function over fashion.. fix the brains b4 the body!
