after a few trys brake lights still stay on

ok guys so after changing my brake switch and ripping the tails out and checking all the wiringi still cant figure out why they still stay ......am i missing something??any help is greatly appreciated

The cluster light or the actual rear tail light brakes.

The tail light bulbs stay on like the brake is being pushed

There is a "nipple" on the brake pedal that releases the button that activates the brake lights. Chances are that "nipple" thing broke and there is no presure on the button. This happened to me a while ago. Brake lighs were on constantly.

Sounds like a short to ground before the switch or a bad switch
