no by actually doin dyno test results with same circumstances or as close to them as possible... my buddy used to own a performance shop so it wasn't a big deal he let me use w.e In the shop...Ya u r right on the R&D but I mean how much R&D needs to go in a dp Ya know Wat Im sayin... for the single things there's not much a name brand can offer u over a random brand.

also I suggested the log type manifolds first becuz of price, second becuz Pfizer strength.... tubular manifolds r notorious for cracking mostly becuz people don't have the correct brackets or mounts to support the turbo's weight. which causes cracks with all tht causes headaches... tubular manifolds definitely flow better no argument there... I wasn't slashing any of ur building techniques just some friendly suggestions...

Pfizer strength? ON THAT VIAGRA TIP.

There are so many quality/performance benefits to using name brand parts its not even funny. The most important? Peace of mind. The ability to know that you have know weak spots in your drivetrain so you can just enjoy the car. Log manifolds are ugly, thus bad.

Also:

For street use I recommend Koni Yellow with Ground Control sleeves.
The wheels you posted a pic of are Spoon SW388 and are also identical (made by the same people) as Regamaster Evos. They run about $1500 for a set of 15's or 16's.

Here are the wheels I've been wanting. Saw them on a 00 black Civic Si and loved them.

:thumbs up Just don't get the Rota version....

My outlook on it is do it right, or do it twice ya know? You will end up paying just as much if not more to replace inferior parts with quality ones when something goes bad.

In context I think OP isn't too worried about the money factor, so A quality tubular would be my suggestion to him. I too have seen tubular manifolds crack, but that is usually attribute to poor craftsmanship in my experience. Mount it right, buy something that has been produced correctly and you won't have an issue and your results will be better than the alternative. And first sentence kinda threw me into attack mode, sorry haha

Yeah, I'll be shooting for the name brand things. I've learned my lesson to many times on the Mustangs with buying cheaper alternatives that don't hold a light to the name brand things.

I had to go buy a brand new Civic Si just so I can have peace of mind while driving my car every day. When I was driving the Integra everyday, I would get nervous taking it on long trips because of the chance something could go wrong. Obviously some kids owned this car before me and didn't take very good care of it. I'm willing to put money in it to ensure that 1.) it's dependable and 2.) performs to the standards that I've set for it or performs to the amount of money I'm sinking in it.

I'd go through the wiring harness. I don't doubt that the electronics have been messed with in a bad way.

I had to re-wire the entire headlight harness. They did something screwy and it melted some wires on the passenger side. I just cut it lose and rewired everything. Works great now but the engine still idles bad.

I meant to tell you about this thing. I pulled it off a couple weeks ago and cleaned it up. Still ran like crap. Unhooked it and it idled better but drove worse. Hooked it back up, car ran good for a day, then went back to doing it again. I feel it's the IACV too.

ehhh it's all speculation it goes from person to person to say they have had problems with "supposed" inferior parts... personally I've never had troubles with them but most my work has been only in the dp region so there's not much u could Fuck up on a dp... I Def don't buy cheap shit where it matters. other than tht I buy most name brand shit I guess... o ans intercooler setups I always put my own together cuz u get a way better deal usually... especially If u can make ur own piping. tht goes for intakes too just get a quality filter and bam u saved urself some moolah..

I'd repaint it blue, it looks like your bay is SSBP which is a pretty rare color.

I dont get what would make anyone paint a SSBP gsr flat gray... I swear some of these honda kids have the worst taste. I see more shitty looking hondas than nice ones.

Probably going to hang on to that thing! I've had a couple of my friends already ask me about it. I think it makes the front end of the car look great.
lol, No problem, I know where to get them I was just thinking if your were planning on going to an ITR lip
