so how do i know when vtech kicks in? does the car get loader? will my car pass smog with carsound cat? i need to change my spark plugs and wires, should i go with honda parts or something else? Also having a bodykit is that rice?
On a stock GSR, you can't hear or feel VTEC when it activates, Honda made it that way on purpose. It happens at 4400 rpm's every time, it never changes. There is no "little jump", and the car doesn't get loader or louder, either.
Carsound cats come with a guarantee that it will pass emissions for the first 25,000 miles of the cats life.
If you need new spark plugs and/or wires, go with OEM, which are NGK. The NGK plug wires are blue and really nice looking, but expensive, so don't bother with new plug wires unless you really need them.
Having a body kit, in my opinion, is rice unless the car actually is as fast as the body kit is making it out to look to be. But that's just me, some people are just all go and no show because that's what they like, that's what they want to do. People do what they like, you should just go ahead and do the same.
