96 Integra B20 swap (Running Lean Issue)

I just swapped mines used the b18 ecu obd2 runs great but I'm going to get my obd1 tuned so it can bypass the crank positioning sensor should be fine after that

Check valve lash. Check for vacuum leaks on intake manifold. Clean IACV valve also.
I'm with Samurai, i think its the valves. I had a B20 do the same thing and thats what fixed it.

Unless the valves were really tight- they would be noisey as all hell being loose enough to be causing these issues.

Are you 100% positive your spark plugs are in the correct order..? Lol.


This is probably a no-brainer, but is it throwing any CEL's? They typically lead you to the cause of the problem.

I have my doubts that it is fuel related. TPS out of calibration maybe.

Hey this sounds like a problem i had recently. Check to make sure that your air intake air temp sensor has the right wires plugged into it. The Iacv, purge valve, and Iat sensor are all the same. Hope that helps.

before i was tuned, at partial throttle i wasn't getting enough fuel. im running a LS ecu on my 98 b20. now with more gas at that certain point it would choke up on, it runs perfect.
